baptism on july 18th

We're excited that Sarah Gribbon has asked to be baptised after becoming a Christian over Easter.

Sarah is studying at Bristol University but classes Bridgemere as her home church.

We're planning this event to take place in the sea on July 18th.

Is there anyone else out there who feels this is the next step for them in following Jesus?

what we're planning during august

As lots of people are away and the weather will be hot (we hope), we're planning an alternative August programme to encourage fellowship & friendship without the restriction and rigidity of 'meetings'.

We hope that if you're not on holiday, you will join in with the events and have a really good time.

Remember, the purpose is helping us build relationships. Remember that one of our Core Values is 'RELATIONAL CHURCH' - this is a way we hope we can all strengthen our relationships.

Why not invite your friends to come along - there wont be a sermon or singing, just real people having a good time.

This is the plan :

Aug 1st NO SUNDAY GATHERING AS WE WILL MEET ON THE PRIOR FRIDAY EVENING FOR THE HOLIDAY CLUB FINAL SERVICE.

Aug 8th BBQ @ Abbotts Wood - optional games, walk, sunbathing, food & chat. Meeting at Abbots Wood at 11.00 am

Aug 15th Community Action Sunday - led by David Elliston and the CAT team. Bring your work gear and be willing to get dirty. Starting at 10.00 am

Aug 22nd BBQ at 47 Ringwood Road. Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy a BBQ and spot of sun bathing. Starting at 11.00 am

Aug 29th Evening Celebration @ The Centre starting at 6.30 am. A time to look back over the Summer and look forward to the second half of the year. A time of praise and worship.

Lets use the summer to really build relationships and strengthen our friendships.

the theme for the month of june

The theme of our Sunday 'gatherings through June will be on practical prayer. we believe in prayer, but sometimes we struggle to actually do it. This series of teaching during June is to help us become a church that prays more and believe God to answer that prayer.
